About D3 Racing

D3-Racing team is part of Triple-D Motosport, we use the team to market and promote our business, we also go racing because we enjoy the competition and want to invest back in our sport. Racing at World and British Championship level ensures that we keep up to date with all the latest technical improvements and means we have the necessary experience and knowledge to pass onto our customers. For the 2009 season the D3 Racing Team gets involved in the `triple`, three discaplines - Enduro, Motorcross and Supermoto. This looks like being a real mamouth effort which will hopefully bring it`s rewards.

The Enduro riders are led by Euan McConnell from Scotland who i`m sure needs no introductions, Murray Thomson from Scotland, multi times Scottish Champ and BEC 2008 vets 2nd place. Karl Greenall local Kendal lad competing in the British Clubman Champs. We will also be helping and grooming as a satalite rider, Oliver Hart from Penrith in Cumbria.

In Motorcross we support the young massively talented Jake Gowan, we we hope will give some super results. In house mechanic Keith Barnes will also get the full backing and will hope for better results than last year. We also support the very talonted South African Craig Venske, who will be trying to see if he has the MX champion still in him, look out all you MX riders !!! watch this space.

In the trials world we support Ashley Bell a home grown lad who comes back from down under and picks up trials again. He is hoping for the Center Championship and will be mixing it up with the top boys on the British circuit.

D3 Racing this year will be co managing the Team Smith KTM Racing Team. This has been a great honour to be approached by Ady and asked to join forces, Ady Smith is one of the most well respected and talented KTM riders in the UK. The riders will be Ady Smith - needs no real intro,George Clements - the reigning Southern Supermoto Champ, and Craig Venski a South African MX Champ and 5th in 2008 British SM Champs.

In 2004 we ran our own privateer team with KTM riders David Knight and Edward Jones, we had much success with Knighter taking the British championship again and Edward finishing 2nd in the 250 class. David also finished a fantastic 2nd in the highly competative E3 class of the WEC, beating many Factory riders on our D3 prepared production bikes. These great results gave D3-Racing and David Knight Factory support for 05 and 06.

For the 2007 Season the D3-Racing teams enters its 4th season with new riders, David Knight is concentrating his efforts in America to challenge for their GNCC championship and will only make guest apperances for D3. We have recruited Juha Salminen racing 250 EXC-F to replace David in the British championship and he will be supported by the up and coming European champ Tom Sagar on a 450 EXC.
